The FEU Tech Innovation Center (FTIC) further strengthened its commitment to cultivating a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship through Unmasked: Visionaries Who Build Impact, an inspiring event that placed authenticity, purpose, and human experience at the center of entrepreneurial discourse. Designed to go beyond conventional success narratives, the gathering invited students, startup founders, and aspiring innovators to engage in honest, unfiltered conversations about what it truly takes to build ventures that create meaningful and lasting impact.
Rather than highlighting polished achievements alone, Unmasked deliberately created space for vulnerability. The event encouraged founders to openly share the realities behind their entrepreneurial journeys—the failures that shaped them, the doubts that tested their resolve, and the lessons learned through perseverance. In doing so, FTIC fostered an environment where learning was rooted not only in outcomes, but in process, reflection, and resilience.
At the heart of the event were accomplished founders and leaders who have built solutions addressing real-world challenges. The speaker lineup featured:
Through their stories, the speakers demonstrated that impact-driven ventures are rarely built overnight. Instead, they are shaped through years of experimentation, learning, and unwavering commitment to a clear purpose. Their experiences reinforced the idea that entrepreneurship is not just about solving problems, but about understanding people, systems, and long-term responsibility.
A key highlight of Unmasked was the fireside chat with the #TamLabs startup teams, which transformed inspiration into practical learning. FEU Tech incubatees engaged directly with the speakers, asking candid questions about leadership, funding, failure, team dynamics, and personal growth. This interactive exchange allowed students to connect theory with real-world application, gaining actionable insights they could immediately apply to their own startup journeys.
The dialogue encouraged openness and mutual learning, breaking down perceived barriers between students and industry leaders. For many participants, it was a rare opportunity to hear firsthand that even successful founders continue to face uncertainty—and that resilience, humility, and continuous learning remain essential at every stage of entrepreneurship.
Throughout the afternoon, the atmosphere was one of reflection, motivation, and empowerment. Students left with a clearer understanding that building impact-driven ventures requires more than technical skills or innovative ideas—it demands courage, empathy, and a willingness to embrace failure as part of growth.
By hosting Unmasked: Visionaries Who Build Impact, FTIC reaffirmed its role as more than an innovation hub. It positioned itself as a community that nurtures values-driven leadership, equipping young visionaries with not only the tools to innovate, but also the mindset to lead with purpose.
As part of FTIC’s broader mission, Unmasked continues to inspire students and startups to look beyond metrics of success and instead focus on building ventures that matter—ventures that contribute meaningfully to society while shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future.
