FEU Institute of Technology held its annual outreach activity entitled iTamBahagian: One Christmas with Our Partner Community last November 21, 2016. Through the collective effort of the University’s associates, iTam Ambassadors and the initiatives of Student Affairs and Community Services Office (SACSO), FEU Tech was able to deliver goods and gift items to more than 42 children of Barangay 842, Zone 92 Pandacan, Manila.
During the opening remarks, Barangay Captain Jennifer Esteban expressed her gratitude to FEU Tech for its continuous efforts of volunteering and giving back to the community. As part of the program, several groups of children, wearing their best Christmas costumes serenaded the FEU Tech associates with their best Christmas carols. After the performances, children enjoyed the luscious food that the FEU Tech had prepared. They were joined by iTam Ambassadors and associates.
Gifts were given to children at the end of the program, and it had put big smiles to all children and their parents who received the early Christmas presents of the College. SACSO Director Angeli Bustillo, on behalf of the University extended her greetings to the children and the community and expressed that FEU Tech will continue its deed for the betterment of the community.
