FEU Tech is hosting NKUST @ FEU Tech Summer School 2019, a month-long English Camp with 80 students from the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST), the largest technological school in Taiwan.
In a short ceremony at The FEU Tech Innovation Center to launch the program, Senior Director for Administration Jarvis C. Muyargas expressed excitement over the opening saying, "It is the realization of our initial collaboration efforts that began in 2015."
Muyargas emphasizes that the program is important for FEU Tech because they believe that soft skills like being able to communicate ideas are just as important as technical skills.
"English, just like Chinese, is a global language that will give students a competitive edge when they are out in their respective fields of profession," he said.
Humanities, Social Sciences, and Communication (HSC) Director Ruth Que explained that students will be given lessons and activities that will boost their confidence and improve their English communication skills.

"I expect that our students will not only improve their English professionally but develop and enlarge their global perspectives as well."
