“The sports community and its domain need this transformation.”
Said Dr. Roman De Angel, FEU Tech IT Director and Project Manager of the Development Team of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Eligibility System in an email interview, expressing the need for a fast and accurate platform for athlete transactions.
In a groundbreaking collaboration between the UAAP and the FEU Institute of Technology, an innovative web-based platform called the UAAP Eligibility System is set to revolutionize the traditional information management process of players from the UAAP.
The UAAP Eligibility System is an administrative application that bridges the gap between the vast amount of information the association handles and the rapid generation of essential reports, ensuring efficient management and storage of data.
Developed by the FEU Institute of Technology's Information System Development and Training Unit (ISDT), under the leadership of Geliza Marie Alcober, this platform integrates all workflows into a single system, enhancing automation to its fullest potential.
Other members of the Development Team of the UAAP Eligibility System are Lead Programmer Ivan Dwane Gloria, UX Designer Jessy Emerald Cabiles, Former ISDT Coordinator Danna May Mansul, and Executive Director Rossana Adao. Both the Lead Programmer and UX Designer are FEU Tech Bachelor in Science in Information Technology students who were able to deliver all the project deliverables on time with a quality that satisfied the stakeholders.
